- On board you’ll find a warm welcome, availability, and great attention to detail.

Sailing Experience
Imagine arriving in Sicily and your first encounter with Trapani’s sea is at Cala Rossa, Favignana. A half-mile of crystal-clear, turquoise water blending with the endless blue sky—recognized by TripAdvisor among the top ten beaches in Europe.
The Egadi Islands are also a treasure trove of history and traditions. Evidence of human presence dates back to the Paleolithic, and these waters were the stage for a pivotal battle between Romans and Carthaginians that shaped the ancient world.
Discover the legacy of tuna fishing and the “tonnaroti”, a lifestyle forged by an intimate and sometimes brutal relationship with the sea. You’ll see its traces in historic buildings and local traditions, which I’ll guide you through personally.
In the early afternoon, we sail to the charming Levanzo Island, dock at its small fishing village, enjoy a walk, and taste a refreshing Sicilian granita: almond, mulberry, or lemon.
The tour continues with swim stops at Cala Fredda and Cala Minnola, before returning to Trapani around 6:00 PM after a full day at sea.
Detailed Itinerary
Step 1 – 9:00 AM:
Meet at Marina Arturo Stabile, Trapani, complete registration, and briefing for the day aboard the catamaran.
Step 2 – 9:30 AM (Cala Rossa):
Depart Trapani port and sail 30 minutes to Cala Rossa. First swimming/snorkeling stop in crystal-clear waters surrounded by thousands of fishes.
Step 3 (Cala Bue Marino):
A slow sail along Cala Bue Marino offers photo opportunities of the island’s ancient tuff quarries. No swimming stop here due to strong currents.
Step 4 (Punta Marsala Lighthouse & Cala Azzurra):
Continue past Punta Marsala lighthouse to Cala Azzurra for the second swimming/snorkeling stop.
Step 5 (Cala Preveto):
Sail to Cala Preveto for another unforgettable swim. Discover a small sea cave partly by swimming, partly on foot. The combination of sand, rocks, and Posidonia seagrass makes this one of the most beautiful coves in the Egadi Islands.
Step 6 – Lunch:
Lunch is served on the catamaran, shaded and in a private cove. Enjoy traditional Trapani snacks, “Pane Cunzato” or "Timballo di Anelletti", and fresh seasonal fruit. All food is pre-prepared according to HACCP standards and offered free of charge. Guests may also bring their own food and beverages.
Step 7 – Levanzo Visit:
Sail around the island, stopping at Cala Rotonda, Cala Grande, and Punta Sottile lighthouse, then dock at Levanzo. Walk the small village, meet local fishermen, and enjoy a personal granita tasting. After about an hour, return to the catamaran.
Step 8 – Cala Fredda:
Short sail from Levanzo port to Cala Fredda for an afternoon swim.
Step 9 – Cala Minnola:
Sail to Cala Minnola, a picturesque bay with colorful seabeds and a fragrant pine forest. Swim while watching the sun set behind the island.
